Has anyone else been thinking about how the community support for Amarie Flood's case might be the key to finally finding answers? I can’t help but feel for her family and friends who are left waiting for any news. You can sense how much everyone is aching for some resolution. It seems Mayor Thorpe’s call for community involvement is more than just lip service—especially with the proposed violence prevention task force. Maybe it will spark more people to come forward with information, whether big or small. I hope this tragedy can push for real change and, quite possibly, lead us to the answers needed to bring peace to Amarie’s loved ones. Thoughts on how effective these community initiatives might be in cases like this? Has there been any update from those neighborhood meetings?
