I keep thinking about the role of surveillance footage in solving Froylan Vazquez's case. It's both amazing and chilling how much it contributes to law enforcement efforts these days. From what I gathered, the SAPD was able to track down the suspect via the surveillance footage from various locations, which seems like it played a pivotal part in identifying and arresting Jose Antonio Mejia-Garcia. My thoughts are with Froylan's family and friends. In a way, I hope knowing that the suspect has been caught and faces justice brings them a small amount of peace. It’s important for us as a community to remain vigilant and cooperative with law enforcement when such tragedies occur. If anyone knows more details, especially about how the surveillance tech is implemented, I'd love to hear about it.
