I’ve been following the case of Darryl Haynes, and my heart goes out to his family and the Potrero Hill community dealing with this tragedy. One thing that really stands out to me is the issues surrounding "ghost guns." How terrifying that something used in a crime could be so hard to trace! It seems like this is becoming a bigger problem, and the fact that Robert Newt had one in his possession back in April, but was released due to lack of evidence, really highlights the challenges law enforcement faces. It makes you wonder how many more of these weapons are out there and what can be done to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. I hope the authorities find Newt soon and that this brings some sense of justice and peace to the victims' loved ones. Anyone else know what’s being done in the community to address the rise of these untraceable firearms?
