It's incredibly difficult to imagine the pain Billy Avila's family must be feeling. I'm curious about the role of the third person driving the Nissan Altima. Does anyone know if they faced charges or if they cooperated with the investigation? It seems like they were crucial in leading the police to find the vehicle, but I haven't seen much information about their involvement. It's peculiar how the vehicle disposal attempt didn't entirely cover their tracks, given that DNA and the suspects' clothing were key in the trial. It’s a grim reminder of how no amount of planning can truly erase evidence when justice seeks to prevail. My thoughts are with Billy’s loved ones during this incredibly tough time.
