Hello I am Kenny's sister Tasia. Thank you all for your kind words and support. Kenny's was more than my brother he was my best friend. I think of him everyday and how fresno pd has let all of us down.
PD knows who killed him but claim they need an eye witness even though there are
Videos of him being shot and killed and the shooter circulating on Social Media.
The detective who was supposed to be working the case doesnt even remember any details about the case. I listened to him try to lie about what he was doing to get justice for my brother when at first he didn't even remember who I was, his kids names, or the fact that there is video evidence! I'm lost and need help but don't know where or where to start! If anyone knows anything please reach out!
How can we begin to heal with so many unanswered questions? Justice for His kids who woke up father's day without a father. Justice for his Father who on Fathers day that his son was dead? Instead of getting call whishing him a happy fathers day, he called me and told me that the most important person in my life was gone and never coming back. His big brother found out on FB that his little brither was murdered on Fathers day. Our moms health is declining and she wants justice for her son before she dies and has tasked me to make it happen. I need help!!

Omg. How frustrating.. This is so awful. I hope there is someone out there that can help.

I just can’t stop thinking about what a brave person Kenny was. The fact that he was trying to do the right thing by intervening to stop a fight speaks volumes about his character. It’s so unfair that his courage on that night led to such an unthinkable tragedy. My heart goes out to his family, especially his little ones, Sierra and Wyatt. They lost their father on a day meant to celebrate dads. I can’t imagine the pain they must feel. I sincerely hope justice is served soon, and that his family finds some sense of peace and healing. Does anyone know if there have been any updates regarding potential suspects or arrests? It’s so unsettling to think the person responsible might still be out there. Kenny deserves justice for his bravery, and his family deserves closure.
I’ve been following the tragic case of Kenneth "Kenny" Lee Loftis, and my heart really goes out to his family, especially his kids, Sierra and Wyatt. It's awful to think of them growing up without their dad. I don’t know if anyone else feels this way, but I can’t help but wonder about the impact witnessing something like this has on everyone else who was at that party. We often talk about the family's grief, rightfully so, but I think it's important to remember how traumatizing such events can be for any bystanders too, especially if they were friends with Kenny or just strangers who found themselves at the wrong place at the wrong time.
I really hope the investigation can bring some closure to everyone affected. It may also help shine a light on the broader issue of gun violence in communities. Surely, there’s more we can all do to foster safe environments and prevent these kinds of tragedies from happening. Does anyone know if Fresno has any initiatives in place to tackle this problem, or if Kenny’s family is involved in any advocacy? It would be nice to see a drive towards positive change in his memory.

Hello I'm Kenny's sister Tasia. Thank you for your kind words. The loss of my brother has devastated all of us. The police know who killed him and have video but the Fresno DA refuses to file charges without an eye witness. She has enough evidence for a jury trial where my family has a better chance for justice, rather than sitting in a cold case file. I want to advocate for justice and change in leadership and accountability. Our DA doesn't care about victims or the community if she lets a killer walk our streets because she's more concerned about job security rather than securing our city. If you are interested in helping feel free to reach out I could use the support thank you.
Hey all,
I've been following Kenny Loftis's case since I heard about it, and I can't help but think about the ripple effects of his death on those who cherished him. I read that Kenny was doing what he loved the night before he was killed—fishing—and I just feel an immense sense of sadness for his children, Sierra and Wyatt, who must long for those times with their dad.
What particularly catches my attention is how these tragic incidents can randomly turn an ordinary day into a lifelong nightmare for a family. Kenny was simply trying to help, to be a peacemaker, which just shows what kind of person he was. It's frightening how this world sometimes punishes the good-hearted.
Can anyone here shed some light on how Fresno has changed since these kinds of incidents seem to be more common now? How's the community coping with this, and are there any new updates on the police investigation? It's just so important for us to keep this conversation going, not just for Kenny but for all families who are dealing with such senseless loss.
Sending thoughts and strength to everyone affected by this tragedy.
