I’ve been following Ron Derosin’s case for a while now, and it’s so unsettling that even with all the technological advancements in forensic science, cases like his remain unsolved. My thoughts are with his loved ones; I can’t imagine the frustration and pain of not having answers after so many years. Baton Rouge has been grappling with its crime rate for quite some time, and I understand that it must be overwhelming for the police department to manage the backlog of investigations. It makes me wonder whether the community engagement could be a game-changer. Imagine if more people felt empowered to share what they know—it could potentially make a huge difference. I really hope someone out there has the courage to come forward and help piece together what happened to Ron. Every tip, no matter how small it seems, could be the key to solving this.
