I'm still trying to wrap my head around how things spiraled so quickly on that tragic day. It's devastating to think that a young girl had to spend her birthday mourning her father. My heart goes out to Javontae's family, especially his daughter. It must be incredibly tough for her to process all this at such a young age. I can't help but wonder about the role mental health played in this case. Jerrollyn mentioned post-traumatic stress disorder, and while it's by no means an excuse, PTSD can be a significant factor in how people react under stress. It’s a reminder of the importance of addressing mental health issues before they escalate into something irreversible. I hope both families find some peace and can heal from this terrible incident.
