I've been following the case of Michael Jr. Williams, and it really hit me how important forensic advancements are these days. I was reading about how the NOPD Cold Case Unit has been using modern techniques like DNA testing and fingerprint analysis to try and crack old cases, including Michael’s. It’s a shame that technology wasn't as advanced back in 2013; maybe things would be different now. It gives a bit of hope though, knowing that they haven't given up and are still actively looking for answers. I truly hope that these advancements will eventually lead to justice for Michael and some peace for his family. Does anyone know if there have been recent updates on how these technologies are being funded or utilized in other similar cases? It seems like such a crucial piece of the puzzle in solving cold cases.
