Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the role of community in solving cases like that of Cervando Flores. It's truly unsettling to know that fear of retaliation is preventing witnesses from stepping forward with information that could crack this case wide open. It’s a powerful reminder of the kind of struggles these neighborhood face. The vigils and memorials held in honor of Cervando show just how much he meant to those around him. He was clearly a person loved by his community, and it's just so sad to see everyone waiting for answers and justice. It’s this fear of speaking out that often leaves families without closure. Has anyone here seen any effective community programs or initiatives that have helped improve trust and cooperation with law enforcement in similar neighborhoods? Sending all my thoughts to Cervando’s family and friends. They deserve answers and I truly hope that one day they find the peace they’re looking for. -Alex
