I’ve been following Stanley Bruce Vodden's case for a while, and something that really puzzles me is the area where his car was found. His silver 2017 Kia was discovered abandoned on a rural road in Lauderdale County, Tennessee, near the Mississippi River's floodwaters. It makes me wonder how a guy traveling from Florida to Illinois ended up miles off the direct route. Did he take a wrong turn, or did something or someone lead him there? Also, with all that flooding, was his disappearance an unfortunate accident, or could there be something more sinister? If anyone has local knowledge about that area or the road conditions around the time he vanished, it could offer vital clues. Seems like there just hasn't been enough talk about why he was in that specific place to begin with. Thoughts?

Does anyone else find it odd how quickly the search area around where Stanley Vodden's car was found became flooded? I read that there'd been heavy rainfall, but it seems almost too coincidental that his vehicle ended up near rising waters. I’m wondering if the weather at that time played a bigger role in possibly covering evidence or making it difficult to track his movements. It's nerve-wracking knowing they searched intensely with land, water, and aerial teams and still came up with nothing. Could the floodwaters have washed away any clues? I hope someone saw something before the weather took a turn. What do you all think—did the flooding hinder the investigation more than they're letting on?

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Stanley Bruce Vodden case for a while now and I've been mulling over the possibility of bad weather playing a role in his disappearance. The timing of massive flooding around the time Stanley’s car was found just seems too coincidental. It makes me wonder if maybe he got caught in the floodwaters on foot after abandoning his car. Has anyone else thought about this? It’s strange because you’d think something would have turned up after such an extensive search. I’m also curious if there have been other missing persons in the area due to similar conditions. Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts on this!
