Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Reginald Lefrance, and my heart really goes out to his family and friends. I wanted to talk about the ongoing struggles faced by the community in the 7th Ward. It’s incredibly concerning to see how areas like the 5th and 7th districts have been marked as hot spots for gun violence, and it feels like little has changed over the years. I can't help but wonder about the resources (or lack thereof) that are put into these neighborhoods. What more can be done to support these communities and prevent these senseless acts of violence from happening again? It's frustrating knowing that the 2014 wave of violence touched so many families, like the Lefrance family, who are enduring such pain and loss. If anything, I hope this opens up more dialogue about real, impactful measures that can make these areas safe for everyone. Thoughts and prayers are with everyone who knew Reginald and those affected by this wider issue. What's everyone else's take on how we can better address these systemic problems?
