I’ve been thinking a lot about how something as simple as being in the wrong place at the wrong time can end so tragically. Trevon Moore's case is one that has really hit hard here in Oakland. I didn’t know him personally, but reading about his ties to the area made me realize how deeply interconnected our community is. It’s so frustrating that no arrests have been made yet. It makes you wonder about the safety of even visiting family in seemingly familiar places. My thoughts are with Trevon’s loved ones; no one should have to endure this pain or live in constant uncertainty about what happened to him. Hope anyone with info steps up because his family deserves peace. We all deserve a safer Oakland.
