Living in Sacramento, I can say that what's happening with gun violence in our community is really concerning. I was reading about the tragic case of Matthew Salas-Keen and it really makes you reflect on how precious life is. It's comforting to know that there’s been a conviction, but it shouldn't end there. Given the circumstances around his death, I'm curious about the neighborhood's response to this kind of crime. Have there been any community meetings or initiatives aimed at tackling gun violence, particularly in areas like Del Paso Heights? We really need to come together as neighborhoods to prevent these senseless acts from happening again. It's just so difficult to wrap your head around why someone gets caught up in a cycle of violence, and heartbreaking for those who have lost someone they love to it. Sending love and support to Matthew's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. Let's hope the community can find some healing as well.
