Hey everyone, I’ve been reading up on the tragic case of Dominic Brown, and something keeps sticking out to me. Have we discussed the possibility that the people involved in the case might have moved away from the area over the years? It’s been almost a decade now, and with everything still unsolved, I wonder if anyone has considered how relocation might've affected the investigation? The 7000 block of Crowder Boulevard where it happened might be a lot different now compared to 2014, as neighborhoods can change quite a bit over time, especially in cities like New Orleans. Witnesses and former residents might hold crucial information but have since dispersed. Even small details from those who lived near him at the time could shine a light or, at the very least, help jog someone’s memory. I think it's important for the NOPD and Crimestoppers to possibly expand outreach efforts beyond just the local community. Maybe by increasing their reach on social media and even collaborating with other regions, they could help piece together what no longer seems possible when confined just to the immediate area. I can only hope that someone, somewhere remembers something that can help Dominic's family find the answers they need. His kids—and all of his loved ones—deserve that closure. ?️
