Has anyone else been following the Marco Amaya Diaz case in Fresno? I can't stop thinking about the impact this must have on the entire family, especially in the lead-up to what was supposed to be a joyous occasion with the quinceañera. It just makes me wonder how families and communities begin to put the pieces back together after something this devastating. One thing that stands out to me is the location where the shooting happened - I mean, a mobile home community during a family gathering. It’s such a close-knit setting, which probably amplifies the trauma for everyone who was there. For the people who witnessed this and survived, especially Marco's wife and daughter, the road to recovery must be unimaginably tough. I hope they have the support and resources they need to start healing. It’s incomprehensible to think about what they’ve been through, and my heart truly goes out to them.
