I find the case of Lauralyn Palmer quite puzzling, especially regarding the return of Lucy, her stepdaughter's dog. It's been nagging at me—how did Lucy survive those four days alone? Dogs typically can't fend for themselves that well, so someone must have helped her. Maybe someone who encountered Lauralyn and decided to intervene or feed the dog? It just seems unlikely Lucy would look healthy if she was wandering alone. Plus, why would only the dog come back and not give any clues about Lauralyn's whereabouts? I'm curious if anyone local saw Lucy during those days or possibly knew of someone acting out of character, like taking care of a strange dog. Thoughts?
