Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Shawn Garcia and the others who sadly lost their lives at that party in Downey. I wanted to bring up something that’s been swirling in my mind: the impact this has had on the local community. It’s been really moving to see how people have come together to support each other in the aftermath of such a terrible event. I’ve read about several vigils and memorials being held, and it’s clear how heart wrenching this has been for everyone involved, especially the families. It must be so devastating to lose a loved one in such an unexpected and violent way. At the same time, I’m inspired by how resilient and united the community has been in working to prevent future tragedies. Has anyone attended any of these memorials or vigils?
