I've been thinking a lot about Frederick Holtz's neighbors and how this tragedy might have impacted them. Living so close to that kind of violence must shake a person to their core. I can only imagine the fear and confusion that set in after hearing about Fred’s murder and the resulting murder-suicide with Barbara Wheeler. It’s a devastating situation for anyone to process, especially if they knew Fred personally or even just saw him around in the apartment complex. It's a stark reminder of how complex human emotions and relationships can be. I’ve read that Wheeler struggled with mental health issues, but it must be utterly bewildering for neighbors to reconcile the woman they knew with the dreadful act she committed. It emphasizes the importance of understanding and supporting mental health in our communities. My heart truly goes out to the people on Regent Street. I hope they find some peace and that the community can come together to support one another during such a difficult time. If anyone's from the area, how's the community holding up? Are there any local efforts to help people process and heal from this tragedy?
