I can't stop thinking about the fact that Javier was attending what was supposed to be a fun street carnival. It's devastating that such a joyful event turned into a nightmare for him and his loved ones. A celebration should never end in tragedy like this. I can't imagine the fear and confusion Javier and his friends must have felt in those moments. It's so sad to see gun violence continuing to steal young lives. I really hope anyone who knows something will come forward to help the authorities catch the shooter. Javier's family deserves closure and the peace of knowing justice has been served. Sending all my thoughts and support to his family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time.
