Has anyone else been thinking about potential witness accounts in Deshawn Townsel's case? With the incident occurring so close to a homeless encampment, there must have been people around who heard or saw something that could help. I know the LAPD detained six individuals for questioning, yet it's puzzling that no arrests have been made. Given the time of night, perhaps some were asleep or hesitant to come forward. It's a real challenge when witnesses might also be in precarious situations themselves and fear retaliation or involvement. If even one person could provide a lead or detail, it might make a world of difference for Deshawn's family who must be desperate for answers and justice. It's frustrating how these communities are facing such violence and the additional obstacle of underreported crimes. I hope more people feel empowered to speak up, knowing that it could greatly help in solving this tragic loss. Any thoughts?
