Hello,
I am curious to know if anyone knows how or if Kenneth was related to the sisters? Does anyone know if Kenneth had previous contact with the police?

Kenneth Harrington, aged 59, was the boyfriend of Michele Maulucci, 60, and had no familial relation to her or her sister, Theresa Schrantz, 59. Both Michele and Kenneth resided in Lakeside, California, while Theresa lived in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Regarding Kenneth Harrington's prior interactions with law enforcement, publicly available reports do not indicate any previous contact with the police. The San Diego County Sheriff's Department has not released information about any criminal history or prior incidents involving him. The motive behind the tragic event remains under investigation.

Thank you for clarifying. It’s helpful to know that Kenneth Harrington had no prior known criminal history or law enforcement contact, and that there was no familial relationship between him and the victims. The ongoing uncertainty around the motive certainly makes this tragedy even more difficult to process. I hope the investigation can eventually provide some closure for the families involved.

I see, Kenneth was Michelle's boyfriend. Does anyone think it's strange that the police can't figure out a motive? I mean, there was an argument, Kenneth was obviously upset and shot both women. What am I missing?
I’ve been thinking a lot about Michele and Theresa’s story, and something just breaks inside to know those kids were there. Seeing something so unimaginable at such a young age—how do they even begin to process that? Even though they’re physically safe now, trauma like this is something they’ll carry. Their family in Las Vegas must have a tough road ahead trying to help them heal and understand what happened. It’s not just Michele and Theresa's loved ones who need support; these children, thrust into the middle of this chaos, are so vulnerable right now. I hope the community steps up to offer them the love and resources they’ll need in the coming years. Does anyone know if there are local centers in that area or even national organizations providing therapy or assistance for children in these situations?
Has anyone else been thinking about the bravery and strength of Theresa Schrantz's grandchildren? I can't even begin to imagine the trauma and fear they faced that night. Their safety could have easily been compromised, but somehow they managed to escape and alert other family members. I hope they're getting all the support and care they need right now. It's so devastating that they had to witness something so horrific, and my heart goes out to them and their family. If anyone has updates on how they're doing, please share. I think it's important for the community to rally around these kids and show them they're not alone.
