I can't stop thinking about the wave of violence that ripped through New Orleans back in 2014, especially the case of Michael Meyers. It's been almost a decade, and yet it feels like questions about his murder still echo through the city. I read somewhere that his case is often brought up in court, almost as a reminder of the challenges law enforcement faced that year. It’s unsettling to think that his name has become a part of legal arguments while his family is still searching for answers. I hope the Cold Case Unit can find the breakthrough they need. It's hard to imagine how tough this must be for his loved ones, knowing that justice has been delayed for so long. Let's keep sharing anything we might know, as even the smallest piece of information could be what finally brings closure. Every victim deserves justice, and every family deserves peace.
