I've been following the tragic case of Roy Joseph Bell and his family, and I'm particularly struck by the impact this tragedy must have had on those first responders and investigators involved. Can you imagine being the one to discover such a heart-wrenching scene? It's something that likely stays with them forever. I wish mental health support had been more widely available for everyone affected back then, from the surviving family members and community to those on the front lines dealing with the aftermath. My heart goes out to all touched by this unimaginable loss. Does anyone know if there were any initiatives or memorials set up in Mechanicville to honor Roy and his siblings? It's so important we remember them and the bright futures they should have had.
