It’s deeply saddening to reflect on the chaos that erupted at the Neptune Worldwide Moving Company on that February morning. I’ve come across some discussions about the security measures in place at the time of the incident, and it's really tough not to wonder if stronger protocols might have made a difference. From what I've gathered, there weren't any significant security measures in place to prevent someone like Cowan, with such a clear vendetta, from accessing the premises. It’s incredibly unfortunate because Joseph Hicks and the other victims might still be with us today if preventative steps had been taken. It’s essential we acknowledge the potential shortcomings in security to ensure workplaces learn from past tragedies to better protect employees in the future. Does anyone know if the company faced any legal consequences or implemented changes after this horrifying event? My heart goes out to Hicks’ family and all those forever changed by that day's events.
