I recently read through Dora Castro's case again, and something struck me about the timeline when she and her brother disappeared. Have any of you noticed how they were last seen on June 4, but their aunt only reported them missing a week later, on June 11? I know people have different reasons for not reporting immediately, but a whole week seems like a long time, especially for two minors in such a vulnerable situation.
Could this delay have affected the chances of finding them sooner? I'm just curious if anyone has thoughts or knowledge about how the timing might impact investigations in cases like these, especially when immigration issues are involved. It feels like such a critical detail that might be overlooked with everything else that's going on.
Has anyone else taken a deep dive into Dora Castro's case and noticed the odd timing of the aunt’s report? Waiting a whole week before alerting authorities seems really unusual. I get that there could be reasons, like hoping they'd come home on their own, but couldn't it have delayed important police work? Also, I wonder if cultural or language barriers might have played a role in the timing. Anyone have thoughts or knowledge on similar cases with a delay like this? It just stands out to me, especially since they were in a vulnerable situation with their immigration status pending.
