Has anyone ever looked into the eerie eerie coincidence of the location chosen for Johnny "Keys" Simone's death? It's so strange to me that they picked a country club called Sky View for such a grim act. Given that it was Sammy the Bull behind it, I can't help but wonder if there was some symbolism there—like a final view of the open sky before fate took its course. The mafia had a way of adding a twisted honor to their brutal deeds, as seen when Simone was allowed to walk to his death with dignity. I can't imagine the weight of those last moments, knowing what's coming. It's such a poignant piece of mafia history—power plays and brutal ends. My thoughts are with Simone's family and friends who had to face this tragedy without any real resolution from law enforcement. So much of it seems buried under layers of silence and loyalty in mafia circles. It's chilling to think about how many stories like this one are lost to time.
