Has anyone else noticed the timing discrepancy in Juan Cristobal Machic Zapil’s case? He left Guatemala on June 20, 2018, but his family didn’t hear from him until July 9. That’s more than two weeks without any contact, which seems like a long time for someone on such a dangerous journey. I wonder if there were any issues or events during that period that might give clues to his whereabouts. Plus, he mentioned being on a ranch near McAllen intent on going to Houston the same day. Could there be a ranch worker or local who might have seen him? Sometimes those small details can be crucial in missing persons cases. Thoughts?
Has anyone been following Juan Cristobal Machic Zapil's case? I recently stumbled across it and have been digging through what’s available. Something that stood out to me was the mention of his upbeat mood during his last phone call with his sister. It just makes me wonder if he had any travel companions or if anyone else saw him around that time? Anyone familiar with the ranch area near McAllen where he said he was? Given the circumstances, it seems important to figure out who else was in the vicinity. Maybe someone could remember something. Would love to hear any theories or insights.
