Has anyone here been following the investigation into the DeMeo Crew? Paul's murder is such a sad reflection of how vicious and terrifying that world was. I’ve read that Paul and his father Albert went to Brooklyn hoping to find out about Joseph, only to walk into a trap. I can't imagine the shock and betrayal they must have felt. It really makes you wonder about the extent these mobsters were willing to go to maintain their power. The fact that the DeMeo Crew used such brutal tactics to silence people is just awful. Does anyone have any insights on how this case connected with the eventual fall of the DeMeo Crew? Has anyone else looked into how the investigation overcame the fear they instilled in potential informants?
