I’ve been reading about Anthony Romano’s murder, and it really sticks with me how ruthless the DeMeo Crew was, especially given how feared they were in the community. Can you imagine living in a neighborhood where such a notorious group operated? It's horrifying to think about the constant fear and paranoia people must have felt knowing that these were not just criminals but extremely dangerous individuals capable of such heinous acts. What's baffling is how the crew managed to evade justice for so long, leaving so many families without closure. It’s a tragedy not only for Anthony’s family but for everyone affected by the crew's brutal crimes. Given how notorious they were, I wonder how many other similar stories remain untold. My thoughts are with the Romano family and everyone who suffered at the hands of the DeMeo Crew. Anyone else have thoughts on what made them so elusive to the law for such a long time?
