Hey everyone, I've been thinking about how the events of that night must have been incredibly overwhelming for Sergeant Garzetta. It's tough to imagine witnessing your partner get shot right in front of you and then somehow finding the strength to respond and protect others. And then, to deal with his own injuries on top of all of that—it's beyond commendable. The mental and emotional toll this must have taken on him, and probably still does, is something we don't often talk about enough. I hope he's found the support he needs to heal from the trauma of that night. It's reminders like these that show us the immense pressures our law enforcement officers face and the sacrifices they sometimes have to make. Just wanted to acknowledge his bravery and resilience in such a dire circumstance. Thoughts are with his family and Trooper Dunning's loved ones.
