I've been thinking a lot about Kevin Kaiser's role in this whole tragedy. It must be incredibly tough to witness your friend's death in such a senseless manner and then have your account of events questioned. Kevin’s perspective seems to challenge the officers’ narrative, which only adds to the confusion and frustration surrounding the case. It's unfortunate that the truth of what exactly happened that night may never be fully known, especially with conflicting accounts. I can’t even begin to imagine the emotional burden he carries from that night, nor the frustration of feeling unheard. It's important that his voice and his experiences are not overshadowed or dismissed in discussions about the case. Hoping that one day, we see changes that prevent situations like this from occurring in the future. My thoughts are with Patrick’s family, Kevin, and everyone else affected.
