Has anyone else thought about how confusing and terrifying it must have been for Ousmane Zongo in those final moments? He was just doing his job, completely unaware of the police raid targeting a counterfeiting operation that had nothing to do with him. I can't imagine the fear and confusion he felt upon encountering an undercover officer without clear police identification. It's tragic that such a misunderstanding could lead to such a devastating outcome. My heart truly goes out to his family who had to come all the way from Burkina Faso to seek justice for their loved one. It's unimaginable what they must have gone through seeing him painted in the media as just another victim of police error. Every detail of this case seems to underscore the critical need for changes in how law enforcement engages in such high-stakes situations. I hope it serves as a wake-up call for better practices, so no other family has to endure such pain. What are your thoughts on police accountability in similar cases?
