I’ve been thinking a lot about the vigil held for Argell Myles, and it's so moving to see how many people showed up to honor his memory. It’s a testament to how much he was loved and how he touched the lives around him. From what I’ve read, Argell wasn't just another statistic; he was a dreamer with hopes for a brighter future for him and his family. It's just so frustrating that such a positive figure in his community was taken away in such a senseless manner. Seeing the community rally together like this hopefully highlights that something needs to change in Baton Rouge concerning gun violence. We owe it to Argell and so many others to continue pushing for justice and safer streets.
