Hey everyone,
I came across something intriguing about Samuel Moses' disappearance that hasn't been discussed much. Has anyone else heard about the rumors of strange activity around the Alakanuk dump? I read a few comments suggesting that a few locals reported unusual noises and sightings around that area after dark. It's unclear whether this was before or after Samuel was last seen there.
It's always tricky with these isolated regions because so much relies on just a handful of people being willing to come forward, but I'm curious if anyone has more details or thoughts on that. These local stories, even if unverified, often provide clues or lead to more information. Hoping someone might shed some light on this or maybe even clarify if these reports are recent or just coincidental.
Thoughts?
The more I think about Samuel's case, the more I wonder about the safety protocols at the Alakanuk dump. Given that's the last place he was seen, I'm curious about what kind of access it has. Is it a place where people often hang out, or was it unusual for him to be there? Considering his state of intoxication, it's possible he might not have been aware of any dangers in the area. I've read about other cases where unsecured sites lead to tragedy. Does anyone know if there have been efforts to secure or monitor the area better since he disappeared? It's alarming how quickly something can happen when places like this aren't properly managed or watched over.
