I've been thinking a lot about the Cashman case again recently. One thing that still stands out to me is the note that the paper carrier found on the door. I wonder if anyone ever really knew what it said or if that detail was kept private out of respect for the family. It just breaks my heart thinking about what Ann Marie might have been going through in those final moments at home. By all accounts, she seemed to be such a warm person, always there for her family and friends. The fact that she spent her time taking care of others and doing things like baking and cooking for them just shows how generous her spirit was. It's still shocking that something so violent happened in what seemed like such a loving home. Sending love and strength to everyone still grieving in the Plattsburgh community. ?
