I’ve been thinking a lot about Leonard Milton Hines and how he was described by his family. It’s just so tragic that such a young life was cut short right after celebrating his 24th birthday. Celebrations are supposed to be joyful times, filled with hope and promise, but now his family has been thrust into this devastating situation. It’s a harsh reminder of how fragile life can be and how quickly things can change. My heart goes out to his mother, Altamese, and everyone who loved him. They deserve answers and justice. It’s concerning that there haven’t been any arrests yet, but I hope that changes soon. Until then, it’s on all of us to keep talking and sharing any information that might help bring some resolution to this horrible tragedy. Does anyone know if there’s been any progress on community efforts to support his family and find justice?

I've been following the tragic story of Leonard Hines and can't help but think about how this kind of violence impacts young people in our communities. Leonard was only 24, with his whole life ahead of him. It's so sad to hear that his mother now has to face such a devastating loss just days after celebrating his birthday. The fact that no arrests have been made yet only deepens the pain for his loved ones who are seeking justice. I also worry about the 17-year-old who was injured and what kind of trauma they must be dealing with. Being a teenager and going through something so horrific could change their life forever. I hope they have a strong support system to help them through this. It's really troubling how disputes can escalate into such violence these days. I sincerely hope the community comes together to support Leonard's family and that anyone who knows something steps up to help solve this case. My heart truly goes out to everyone affected.

I’ve been thinking about Leonard Milton Hines' case and can’t shake the thought of how fragile life can be. It’s devastating to know that Leonard was just starting to celebrate another year of his life when it was cut short so senselessly. From what his family says, it really sounds like he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's haunting to consider how this random dispute resulted in such a tragic outcome. I feel for Leonard’s mother, Altamese Hines, and can’t even begin to imagine the heartbreak of losing a child in such a way. I truly hope the NYPD makes progress soon and that justice is served. It's been too long with no answers or arrests, leaving everyone in limbo. If anyone knows anything, the right thing to do would be to come forward. This family deserves closure, and their community deserves to feel safe again.
