I can't stop thinking about the moment this happened. Imagine being in that elevator, just trying to go about your day, then suddenly everything changes. It's horrifying. My heart goes out to Tykquan's and Darryl's families. What a senseless loss. I read that building was known as "Vietnam" because of how rough it is—how do residents cope with that constant fear? It's no place anyone should have to live or visit. I hope this case prompts some action to make those areas safer. These types of tragedies shouldn’t be the norm. We really need to address how these conflicts start and escalate to this level. Rest in peace, Tykquan and Darryl.
