It's deeply unsettling how something like this could happen in broad daylight. I was reading about Dominique Darrell Harris's case, and it just got me thinking about the implications for community safety. It’s terrifying to think that someone could be so brazen. Harris was just 20 years old, his whole life ahead of him, and it was taken in such a violent, senseless way. I can't imagine the pain his family must be going through, having to relive the trauma with the trial and everything. While Price's conviction does bring some justice, it can't erase the tragedy or the void left behind. I'm also left wondering about neighborhood safety and whether there have been any initiatives to address this kind of violence since this happened. Does anyone from the area have insight on preventative measures or changes that have come about in the community post-trial? It's just heartbreaking to see these lives cut short like this.

I’ve been following the tragic case of Dominique Darrell Harris and it really stuck with me how quickly life can change. Reading about the shooting on Langfield Drive, I couldn’t help but think about how it could have been anyone. One moment enjoying time with a friend, and the next, facing unimaginable violence. I can't begin to imagine the pain Dominique’s family and friends must be enduring every day. And although justice was served with Price’s sentencing, it doesn’t bring back the loved ones they lost. It’s just another reminder of how important it is to push for stronger community safeguards and support systems to try and prevent this senseless violence. Has there been any local community response or initiative in Buffalo since the incident to address gun violence? I hope something positive can emerge from such a tragedy.
