I've been following the tragic case of Jonathan Martinez and something that really stands out to me is the witness testimonies. It's just so distressing to think about how many people witnessed such a horrific incident. I can’t even begin to imagine the trauma they must have experienced seeing the violence unfold. I wonder how they'll cope with these memories as they try to move on with their lives. It's important to remember that they are victims in their own right, too. Their bravery in coming forward during the trial surely helped to bring some justice for Jonathan and his family, but I hope they are receiving all the support and counseling they need. My heart goes out to them as well as to Jonathan's loved ones during this difficult time.
