It's so unsettling to think that over a span of just 11 days, there were six killings at NYCHA complexes. This isn’t just a number—it represents individuals and families torn apart by violence. Anthony's case, though it now sees some movement, shines a light on the broader issues that places like East Harlem face daily. We need to push for more resources and support to address the root causes of these incidents. Every time I read about this neighborhood, I feel for the residents who just want a safe place to call home. Everyone deserves that. I really hope the arrest of Tyrell Lewis pushes forward some positive changes in the community's safety initiatives. My thoughts are with Anthony's family and all those affected by this string of tragedies.
