Does anyone have more information about the community rallies that were held after Darnell Faustin's tragic murder? I've read that former gang members and local activists played a crucial role in organizing events to combat the surge of gun violence in the area. It sounds like these gatherings were not only about remembering Darnell and other victims but also about taking a stand against the violence that continues to plague neighborhoods like East Flatbush. It's so important for us to come together as a community in times like these, and it’s encouraging to hear that efforts are being made to address these issues. I can't imagine the pain Faustin's family is enduring, especially his sister Jannie, who spoke so highly of him as someone who tried to bring peace to those around him. If anyone attended these rallies or has details about what's being done to curb the violence, I'd love to learn more about how we can support these initiatives.
