I'm just feeling so torn reading about Nathaniel Hitt's case. I can't even begin to imagine the pain and loss his family must be going through right now. What really gets me, besides the tragedy of it all, is why someone like Bartle would choose to clean a loaded weapon inside an apartment with a baby around. It seems like such a risky decision, and it's awful that such a precious life was lost due to negligence. I hope this incident pushes more people to be mindful of their actions, especially around firearms. My thoughts go out to Nathaniel’s loved ones, and I truly hope some measure of justice is served in this heartbreakingly sad situation.

I was reading about the tragic case of Nathaniel Hitt, and my heart goes out to his family, especially his grandfather, Gary Muntz. It’s absolutely devastating to think about what they must be going through. I can’t help but question why Henry Bartle thought it was okay to clean a loaded shotgun in the same room as a child. It just seems like such a reckless decision, especially after using marijuana. I understand accidents happen, but this feels like it could have been so easily avoided with just a little more foresight and responsibility. Does anyone know if there were any prior incidents reported involving Bartle or if there were any concerns about his handling of firearms before this? I’ll be following the case to see if additional charges are filed. Sending love to Nathaniel’s family during this incredibly difficult time.
