Hi everyone, I was just thinking about how the community in Monticello dealt with Trevor Sasso's murder back in May 2016. It must have been such a tough time, not just for his family but for everyone in the area. I remember reading that there was a real push for increased safety measures after his death, and it makes me wonder—did anything significant change in the community because of this tragedy? Were there any community meetings or neighborhood watch programs that came out of this? I think it’s important for us to talk about how communities can come together to prevent these kinds of incidents from happening in the future. If anyone from the area has insight or experiences to share, it’d be great to hear from you. Let’s hope we can make our neighborhoods safer in memory of those we’ve lost.
