It's been over seven years since Ryan Armwood was taken from us in such a senseless act of violence. I keep thinking about how it happened in broad daylight and yet here we are, still without answers. How is it that someone can just vanish after committing such a crime with no trace? I feel for Ryan's family and friends every day; to lose someone so beloved with no closure must be unbearable. The lack of suspects or any solid leads is baffling and frustrating. I've been reading about the "murder triangle" issues in Baton Rouge, and it's heartbreaking that these communities have to live in fear daily. In Ryan’s case, someone out there knows something. I hope the increased efforts to curb violence in the area bring about new tips or witnesses coming forward. This young man deserves justice, and his loved ones deserve peace. ❤️ Let's keep Ryan in our thoughts and continue spreading the word. Sometimes all it takes is one person to speak up. Would anyone here have more info on any community efforts since then to deal with the violence?

I've been following Ryan Armwood's case closely, and something that's been on my mind is the location aspect. It's just so unsettling that this happened on Fairchild Street during the day. I mean, it's one thing to think about crime happening under the cover of darkness, but broad daylight? It just speaks to the boldness or maybe even desperation of whoever did this. Fairchild Street is part of what some are calling Baton Rouge's "murder triangle." It's disheartening to think that Ryan and other victims could just be going about their day when something like this happens. The community is obviously in pain, but it also seems like there's a level of fear that’s hard to shake off when violence is this rampant. I hope the increased patrols and the community's efforts can make a difference. Maybe someone will come forward with the tip that solves this case and gives Ryan's family some peace. They deserve justice, and Ryan deserves to be remembered not just as a victim, but as a loved and valued part of his community.

I've been following Ryan Armwood's case since it happened, and I keep thinking about the courage of those witnesses who came forward, even in the face of danger. It's not easy to step up and share what you know when you're worried about your own safety. This neighborhood struggles with violence, and it's cases like these that remind me of how critical it is for communities to support and protect those who speak up. I really hope investigators can build on the information given and find some justice for Ryan and his family. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy. If anyone has more details about what steps are being taken to ensure witness safety in similar cases, please share. It's so important for people to feel secure when they're trying to do the right thing.
