Has anyone else heard about the recent push by NOLA PD to revisit old cases with new forensic techniques? I came across an article mentioning that they’re going back through unsolved homicides using DNA testing and fingerprint analysis. It brought to mind the tragic case of Jermaine Curry and how his family, like so many others, must be holding onto hope that they might finally get some answers. It's really difficult to think about all the families out there still waiting for justice as years pass by. I hope that as they review past evidence, new technologies can shine a light on cases like Jermaine’s, offering some solace to his loved ones by bringing them closer to the closure they deserve. Anyone else heard any updates on how effective these new methods are proving to be? Would love to hear your thoughts.
