Has anyone else been following the case of Kester Anthony? I've been thinking a lot about the impact his death has had on his community, especially the part about his mom cleaning the sidewalk after he was killed. That image just doesn't leave my mind. It says so much about a mother's love and how desperately she wanted to honor him, even in the smallest of ways. Kester may have had a difficult past, but he seemed determined to turn things around for his child. I can't imagine the pain his family is enduring. It's just so tragic that someone with dreams of becoming a firefighter and being a better person got caught up in such a violent end. I hope the community comes together to support his family in their search for justice and healing. It's a reminder of how precious life is and how quickly it can be taken away.
