Did anyone else find the delayed announcement of Trooper Charles Decimus's death troubling? I understand wanting to confirm details and respect the privacy of his family, but the gap between his passing and when the news broke seems unusual. This is such a sensitive situation, and my heart goes out to his loved ones who are grappling with more questions than answers right now. It's sad to think about the pressure and stress our law enforcement officers face, often with little acknowledgment or support. The silence around mental health struggles in the force needs to change, and I hope decisions around disclosing information in the future are handled with transparency and care.
