I just keep thinking about how much Raymond loved the simple pleasures in life, like his hunting and fishing trips. For someone who was such a staple in the community, always willing to lend a hand or share a story, it’s mind-boggling why anyone would want to harm him. It makes me wonder if someone from outside the area thought they could exploit his kind nature, or if there's something we’re all missing. This was a man who seemingly had no enemies, and it’s just so devastating to think his life ended so violently and without explanation. I can’t imagine how hard this remains for his family all these years later, especially with no closure. Anyone else from the Scio area have insights or theories about what might’ve led to this tragic outcome?
Hey everyone,
I've been reading through all the discussions about Raymond Cornelius's tragic passing, and one detail that really struck me is the fact that he was shot through a window from outside his home. It breaks my heart to think about someone targeting him in such a way. It feels like Raymond was truly beloved by his community, so what could drive someone to do this?
There's been so much talk about potential motives or suspects, but I keep thinking that maybe there's something more to the location itself. Did anyone else notice if there were any reported break-ins or other crimes in that neighborhood before or around that time? Maybe someone was scoping out houses, and Raymond, being the good-hearted person he was, might have inadvertently noticed something suspicious, making him a target.
I really hope that investigators are looking at all possible angles, even those that might seem minor or unrelated. I can’t imagine the pain his family is going through, and I just wish there was more we could do to help bring whoever did this to justice. If anyone has any info or thoughts, no matter how small they seem, I think it would be worth discussing!
Stay safe, everyone.
I wanted to touch on something that hasn't been discussed much. Raymond Cornelius was known for his love of the outdoors—specifically hunting and fishing. It's heartbreaking to think that someone who found so much joy in the peacefulness of nature could have had their life ended in such a violent manner. I wonder, could Raymond's interests have played a role in his murder?
Scio is a small community, and someone locally must know something. It's puzzling that no motives or enemies have been identified. When a person is as beloved as Raymond seemed to be, it's hard to imagine anyone harboring ill will towards him, especially to go as far as committing murder.
If anyone's withholding information, remember that even the smallest detail can make a difference in a case like this. Raymond and his family deserve justice, and the community deserves closure. Let’s keep this conversation alive and hopefully contribute to finding answers.
