I've been following Anthony Robertson's case since it first happened, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that he and William Gibson were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It’s so difficult to imagine the pain that Anthony's family must be going through, knowing his life was cut short because of someone else's reckless actions. I saw some recent interviews with his parents, and it just really struck me—how they spoke about Anthony's dreams and his love for music and how he always brought joy wherever he went. He seemed like such a genuine person, just living his life, and it’s infuriating that it was taken away so suddenly. It's still baffling to think that Shaw fired 13 rounds without any regard for who might get caught in the crossfire. How can anyone be that reckless and not care about the lives they're destroying? I hope the conviction gives the families some peace, but I know nothing can truly mend what they've lost. My heart goes out to them. I just hope that sharing Anthony's story reminds others about the real people behind these headlines.
