Hey everyone, I wanted to bring up something odd I've been mulling over about the Helen Dalton case. Has anyone else thought about those typewritten letters supposedly from Helen to her sister? I find it strange that Helen, who usually wrote handwritten letters, suddenly switched to typing. It feels like such a significant shift in how she communicated. Was this a common thing back in the 60s when someone wanted to appear formal or something? Or is it more likely someone was trying to impersonate her? Also, has anyone dug into who might have had access to a typewriter at that time? You'd think tracking down the exact typewriter could provide some clues. Given how Donald’s stories had so many holes, I can't help but wonder if this was just another attempt to create confusion around her disappearance. If anyone has more info or theories, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Hey everyone, I've been diving deep into the Helen Dalton case, and something struck me as particularly odd about those letters sent to her sister. It's unusual for someone who always wrote by hand to suddenly switch to typewriting, don't you think? It makes me wonder if there was any significance to the change, or was it purely a move to disguise the fact that Helen didn’t write them? Could this have been an attempt by someone to mislead the family and give them false hope? And what about the phrasing? If anyone familiar with Helen's writing could chime in on how different they noticed it was, it would help build a clearer picture here. Also, were there any known incidents of someone forging her writing prior to her disappearance? Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts or if there’s any precedence in similar cases.

I've been diving deep into the Helen Dalton case lately, and something that's been bothering me is the timing of those typewritten letters. They were supposed to reassure her family that she was okay, but they only raised more questions. Why type them if Helen always wrote by hand? It feels like whoever sent them was trying too hard to impersonate her without knowing her habits well enough. I can't shake the feeling that Donald, or someone else close to him, had a hand in sending those letters to mislead Helen’s sister and buy more time before she went to the police. Does anyone else find the late report of her disappearance suspicious? It seems like every step taken was meant to delay the investigation, and the letters were just part of that strategy. Would love to hear your thoughts!
